For our honeymoon we went to Savannah and St. Simon's Island, GA. They were both beautiful. We stayed in Savannah for two nights at the Ballestone Inn. It is a gorgeous bread and breakfast that I would recommend to anyone visiting Savannah. We took a carriage ride around some of the historical homes and places. It was so beautiful. We also took a stroll down the waterfront. We then went to St. Simons' Island for two nights. We stayed in a hotel right across from a beautiful lighthouse. We could see it from our window. It was such a quaint town, very laid back and relaxing. We had wonderful seafood and visited one of the oldest forts, Fort Frederica. It was interesting and so nice. It would be a nice place to retire:)
